It’s easy to name a superhero – Superman, Batman, Thor, Spiderman, the Green Lantern, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Rorschach, Wolverine – but it’s not so easy to define what a superhero is. At RedEye, we think everyone has superhuman powers and exceptional skills, which is why we recognise a superhero every month. It’s a really important part of RedEye’s culture and helps us recognise and share with the team the amazing and cool things we are doing!
After only a few short months at RedEye, Guillermo made such an impact that he was voted Superhero of the Month by the team! Guillermo is a talented software developer making a difference for RedEyeDMS clients and users. He also brings his awesome knowledge of the Spanish language, fun and industry know-how to RedEye!
Guillermo says “Oh… well, when I was chosen I felt blushed because I hadn’t ever been recognised for work… So it was a strange sensation.”
“I find working in teams absolutely enriching and it’s the best to improve your skills. This encourages me to apply all that knowledge on independent projects for others and for myself.”
His team mates commended his ability to get shit done and have their backs whilst making a difference.
“Getting up and going so quickly and smashing sprint tickets!”
“Getting awesome amounts of work done, in a timely fashion, while learning and navigating RedEyeDMS legacy code badness.”
“He’s been working hard and proved himself to be a valuable asset to the team. Got loads of shite done.”
